Effluent Disposal
Switch to a cleaner and greener post septic tank water treatment solution. Calcamite’s alternative soakaway solutions maximise your septic tank’s potential while minimizing the environmental impact.
Our Range of Effluent Disposal Solutions
Our range of infiltration chambers and aeration tiles provide more cost-effective and less-invasive alternatives to standard soakaways or French drains. The unique concave-shaped chambers promote the growth of bacteria and form an eco-friendly biological mat to ensure minimal pollution when disposing of treated sewage. Not only does this improve the efficiency of post-septic-tank treatment, it eliminates the use of construction aggregate and requires less space.

Septic Tanks with Soakaways
A septic tank’s purpose is to collect wastewater, and then separate and partially decompose as much heavy organic material as possible. The settled sewage can then either be discharged into the sub-soil via a soakaway system or treated further biologically for non-potable applications.
