Our Septic Tank Range
Our septic tank range consists of our distinctive SABS-certified septic tanks, as well as standard septic tanks, both of which utilise a double chamber to allow for effective separation of solids and fats, better hydraulic efficiency, cleaner effluent discharge than conventionally built septic tanks and an improved soak-away performance.
Our septic tanks not only limit soil and water pollution, but are also supplied ready-for-use to ensure quick commissioning and easy, cost-effective installation. Combined with our infiltration chambers, they offer less-invasive, more cost-effective on-site sanitation solutions. Modular units are also available if increased capacity is required.
SABS Septic Tanks
As the only SABS-certified septic tanks in Africa, we take extreme pride in our SABS septic tank range. In order to acquire this certification, the following are examined: materials used, hydraulic efficiency, water tightness and structural integrity, giving you reassurance of their quality and performance.
Calcamite’s SABS-certified septic tanks are supplied all-inclusive with all required for installation including pipes and fittings required for connection to the inlet and outlet, as well as an additional lid extension.

Our standard septic tanks are supplied ready-for-use with a lid (size as indicated in the table below), any additional piping and fittings required for connection to the inlet and outlet are available on request.

Septic Tanks with Soakaways
A septic tank’s purpose is to collect wastewater, and then separate and partially decompose as much heavy organic material as possible. The settled sewage can then either be discharged into the sub-soil via a soakaway system or treated further biologically for non-potable applications.
